I know that this might be different in other households, but we always have the most amazing desserts for Christmas dinner.  Chocolate cheesecake (om nom nommmm), sugar cookies, German chocolate cake...omg it's amazing.  <3333 

I know that most people on my flist friended me for my Twilight fanfiction (especially My Singer since it's my only multi-chaptered one) but I have to tell you that My Singer is discontinued and that I don't plan on writing it anymore.  Sorry.  I ran out of inspiration and I don't like Twilight the way that I used to.  However, I will continue to write drabbles and oneshots and I am actually planning to write some more HP fanfic too, if that's any consolation.  Sorry for being a lazy whore.

Also, here's something else that's interesting: I plan on using this journal more often for reasons other than fanfic.  For instance, I might feel the need to rant or talk about my ~feelings.  haha.  So, those are the main changes that I'm making.  Once again, sorry.  Feel free to de-friend me.  

Yes, I have.  I think it's really stupid since I'm not Irish and don't feel like it's necessary to celebrate it.  I'm just not a festive person, I guess...but pinching people because they're not wearing green is a little childish, if you ask me.

 So I had an idea for a Jasper/Bella fic.  And I'm definitely writing it as soon as I finish My Singer (which should happen in a few weeks seeing as there are only three or four chapters left).  Gah.  This is too exciting.  I love Jasper/Bella, it's my favorite AU pairing.  I mean, I love Bella/Edward as much as the next person (they are meant to be, of course), but I cannot resist Jaspella.  It's just so...I don't know.  There's something about the two of them that I like messing around with.  So yeah.

I read the summary for The Host  and thought it was kind of weird that Melanie Stryder's name sounds and awful lot like Stephenie Meyer.  The initials are reversed, though, like she was like "Oh, crap, what can her name be?  Maybe I could just switch the 's' and 'm' in my name so it'll be Mephenie Seyer.  But wait!  That's not a real name.  How about a change the letters a bit to make it Melanie Stryder!  SCOORRRRE!"

Chapter 9

It is very difficult to update weekly the way I'd like to.  I've got tons of homework and essays and exams, AND I'm grounded from the computer (ahem, I'm using it anyway).  I'm sorry, readers.  I love writing, don't get me wrong, but I have other obligations, too.  Please just remember that I will NOT abandon this story unless I get struck down by lightning or something (knock on wood).  It's just that sometimes, things happen and I'm unable to write every evening the way I'd prefer to.  I'll try my best to get the next chapter of My Singer posted this weekend and there might be some oneshots coming your way over the next few weeks, but I'm not going to make any promises.

Once again, I don't ever plan on leaving My Singer unfinished, so all of the readers of that fic can relax.  Besides, there are only seven (or eight) more chapters left...why would I stop now? 

Oh...and after My Singer and maybe a couple other fics...I'm probably going to take a little break from writing Twilight fanfiction and write some Harry Potter stuff (it was my first fandom, and I'm missing it).  Just thought you should know.

ZOMG.  My local Borders is throwing a Twilight prom in May and (probably) a midnight release party for BD!  Eek!  Borders is the place to call if you want a party, fur realz.
